Established in 1982, the Swiss-Vietnamese Friendship Association has made positive contributions to enhancing mutual understanding between the two peoples, especially in introducing Vietnam to the Swiss people.

In Vietnam, the Association has implemented many projects to overcome the consequences of war, eradicate hunger and poverty, and improve cultural and spiritual life in remote and ethnic minority areas.
