Eight collectives practicing Tug-of-war Rituals and Games from Vietnam and Republic of Korea (RoK) came together in Hanoi to share, perform, and introduce their community’s heritage. Republic of Korea The event took place on November 18 at Tran Vu temple, Long Bien district, Hanoi, as part of the 2023 Hanoi Creative Design Festival. Carnival Ha Long is an annual cultural event that kicks-starts the summer tourism season in Ha Long City that is home to Ha Long Bay, a world heritage recognized twice by UNESCO. This is the 15th year the carnival will be held to welcome visitors to come and discover the natural beauty, local culture, distinctive dishes and various tourism products in Ha Long. The programme comprises the opening ceremony, art performances, street festivals and a low-range fireworks display.
