Tam Diep pineapple hill belongs to Dong Dao farm located in Tam Diep city, Ninh Binh, about 100km from Hanoi. From the capital, if visitors want to see the scenery or stop at any place to check in on the road, they should travel by motorbike for more than 2 hours.

To get to the center of Tam Diep city, visitors can travel east to Quang Trung street, and follow Highway 1A to find Quang Son. Going all the way to Ho Xuan Huong – Dang Tien Dong, they will have to turn left to Dong Giao and ask the locals to find the pineapple farm.

Every different time of the year, Tam Diep pineapple hill experiences different changes and colors. The best time to check in here is early summer, from April to July, when the farm is in the pineapple harvest season.

Two popular pineapple varieties grown here are Cayen Pineapple for export and the Queen Victoria Pineapple, both delicious, sweet, and famous pineapple varieties of Dong Giao and Tam Diep.

Pineapple is available all year round, but the biggest harvest is from March to July. Therefore, in addition to the period from April to July, people can also come to the pineapple farm at these times. Even if it’s not in the harvest season, visitors can still discover interesting things to experience in this agricultural field.
