Bluey an Australian Childrens Animated Series to be Broadcasted in Vietnam

In Ho Chi Minh City, Bluey’s launch screening will run from June 24 to July 7. In Hanoi, the cartoon’s launch screening will be on June 26, then on June 30 and July 1.

Bluey will also have free public screenings in Da Nang on July 5 and in Can Tho on July 6.

Three episodes of Bluey, titled “Magic Xylophone,” “Grannies,” and “The Beach,” totaling 21 minutes, will be screened with a Vietnamese voiceover.

Bluey is an animated series about a family of Australian blue heelers dogs, produced by Brisbane-based Ludo Studio for ABC Kids and co-commissioned by ABC Children’s and BBC Studios.

The colorful ensemble of canine characters includes Bluey Heeler and Bingo Heeler, Bluey’s younger sister. Their parents are Bandit Heeler, an archaeologist, and Chilli Heeler, who works part-time in airport security.

Since its premiere in 2018, the series has gained viewership from all around the world. It has been praised for its realistic portrayal of contemporary family life and its ability to address real-world topics while remaining kid-friendly.

Bluey won an International Emmy Kids Award in 2020, recognizing it as one of the best content for young viewers.

The series has been aired on Disney channels and platforms in the United States, United Kingdom, China, New Zealand, South Africa, and Kenya.
