Exhibition of Photos Highlighting Vietnamese and Laotian World Heritage Sites

The Vietnamese Department of Fine Arts, Photography, and Exhibition and Vietnam Cultural Centre in Laos jointly organised an event that showcased 180 photos, including 160 capturing 26 heritages of Vietnam and four heritages of Laos. These photos featured iconic landmarks such as Hoi An ancient town, My Son sanctuary, Thang Long imperial citadel, Ha Long Bay, Hue court music, the ancient capital of Luang Prabang, Wat Phou world heritage site, Plain of Jars, and Khaen music.

The exhibition, which showcased photographs taken by various Vietnamese and Lao photographers, effectively conveyed the current beauty, value, and vitality of these heritages. These images depicted the rich history, culture, ideas, knowledge, customs, beliefs, and aesthetics of both countries.

The exhibition is currently open to the public in the capital and will remain so until the end of July. Afterward, it will be moved to other Lao localities.
